General

The basics.

We're the software venture of Dalloway Precision Engineering Ltd, a CNC machine shop in the West Midlands. DMOS was built by people who actually work on a shop floor — not by people who've never seen a coolant mist.

Generic tools like Salesforce or NetSuite are built for offices. They don't understand shift work, CNC machines, tooling, travellers or ISO audits. Every part of DMOS is built for precision-engineering workflows, and we run it in our own shop every day.

5–30 employee UK precision shops. A solo operation may find it more than they need; a 200-person plant may need heavier enterprise systems. For the typical UK CNC job shop, it's built for you.

No. Starter gives you DASBridge + DAS QMS + DASTime. Pro adds DASCRM + DASFind. Scale adds DASLeads + DASQuote. Add modules as you need them — most shops start at Starter or Pro.

Pricing & contracts

What it costs.

One price for the whole shop: Starter £79/mo, Pro £149/mo, Scale £299/mo, plus a one-time £295 setup. Not per user, not per quote. All prices exclude VAT. See the full pricing page.

No. It's a fixed monthly fee. Whether you log ten jobs a month or a thousand, the price stays the same — so you know exactly what next year costs.

Real work: a human importing your customers, parts, suppliers and in-progress jobs, a 90-minute training call, and email support through your first week. The difference between "here's a login, good luck" and being properly set up.

Yes — no minimum term on monthly plans. Annual plans run to the end of the paid term (no mid-year refund, but no penalty). Export your data to CSV with one click before you go.

No. The only things outside the monthly fee are Xero (their pricing, not ours) and — only if you use DASLeads or DASQuote — the AI API usage, which is a small pass-through. Skip those modules and there are no API costs.

Book a 20-minute demo and we'll walk you through the platform running on our own live shop. If it's a fit, we'll set you up with the £295 onboarding rather than leave you alone with a blank login.

Technical & integration

How it fits your setup.

Today DMOS integrates with Xero — invoices raise themselves on ship and push across automatically. Sage is on the roadmap; tell us if it's a deal-breaker and it moves up the list.

DASQuote accepts STEP files and PDF drawings, so it works with any CAM system that can export those. DASQuote is an add-on and is still being hardened — see the roadmap for where it stands.

No. But if you are, the DAS QMS module makes surveillance audits dramatically easier. If you're working toward certification, it gives you the document and record discipline ISO requires.

On Supabase (Postgres) in the UK region — AWS London (eu-west-2). Each shop's data is isolated by row-level security, and it's encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't read it, sell it or share it. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request. Full detail — including the honest state of our backups — is on the security page.

You export everything to CSV at any time, in any tier, with one click. Cancel and you keep your data — we don't hold it hostage. More on data ownership and no lock-in.

Fair question, and we'd rather answer it straight than dodge it. You're protected not by a promise we'll exist forever, but by the fact that your data is never locked inside us: it exports to CSV on demand, with no one's permission. A big vendor folding leaves you just as stuck — the difference is whether you can walk out with your records. With DMOS you always can. Here's the full answer.

Support & onboarding

What happens after you sign up.

Yes. The setup fee covers a 90-minute training call for everyone who'll use it — recorded so you can replay it — plus an in-app help guide. We configure DMOS around how your shop actually works before you go live.

Most shops are live in 1–2 weeks. Day one is data import and training; for the rest of the first month you run DMOS alongside your existing tools before going fully live.

You email morgan@dalloways.com and talk to the person who built it — not a support queue. Email support on Starter; same-day on Pro; priority (4 hours, weekdays) on Scale.

Regularly, and they're included in your plan at no extra cost — you're always on the latest version with no manual upgrades. We deliberately don't promise a fixed release cadence: things ship when they've proven themselves on our own floor first.
